Wanted Anaconda
Anacondas have fired people's imagination since time immemorial. Hardly any other animal is so feared and yet at the same time so revered as the biggest snake in the world.
And over the centuries, mind-boggling horror stories about sightings of giant snakes have abounded. But how much of it is fact, and how much fiction? A crew of German wildlife photographers and biologists – equipped with every conceivable piece of technical paraphernalia - sets out in search of the truth behind the myth.
Their exciting quest takes them to extreme habitats, remote corners and enchanted landscapes.
Always in the tracks of the giant anaconda, they provide personal insights into the life of these scientifically little-researched snakes. And they manage to get unique shots of never-shown-before phenomena, such as the birth of young anacondas. And, who knows, perhaps they are also the first to discover the legendary monster, the biggest anaconda in the world.
